The well-known furniture retail brand, DFS has revealed that they are using the Traxx® quick-change frame and banner system. This equipment has been installed in order to update the furniture company’s livery. DFS has used the frame and banner system on their commercial fleet. The company has also used four new designs on their fleet in order to celebrate their success. DFS has been operating since 1969 and began with one store which was located in Doncaster. Now the company operates from 120 different retail stores in the UK and the Republic of Ireland as well as the Netherlands and Spain.
RGVA were used in order to install the new Traxx systems for DFS as a part of the furniture company’s sporting ambassadors campaign. The Traxx system is reported to be the lightest and smallest fixture of its kind while also being environmentally friendly. This campaign was award winning for DFS, and was the largest single project installation of frames and banners that have been made by Traxx across Europe. Now, and after the original 2016 installation, the vehicle graphics specialists, RGVA is working with DFS again in order to update the high definition banners for the company and creating new designs.
The Traxx system that has been installed on the commercial fleet of the furniture company has can make changing the liveries of the vehicles in a way that is quick, and easy. This system is therefore very cost effective in comparison to the methods that were used in the past. Because the Traxx systems that have already been set up, the printed banners that are being replaced can be removed quickly and can then be recycled, leaving a space for the new banners to simply be slided into the correct place. With RGVA carrying out the work, the banners can be replaced in as little as 15 minutes by the team of skilled installers. Two of the four new designs that are being installed depict DFS’s handmade manufacturing process. The two designs will depict more lifestyle focused scenes.
