This Earned recognition scheme can help the DVSA focus their resources towards the seriously or serially non-compliant. The operators who are rated as compliant will benefit from this scheme by avoiding roadside checks that lead to delays to the customer and expense. This compliance scheme will focus on two aspects: management of the driver’s hours and the maintenance of the vehicle through the use of smart technology solutions.
