Valentine’s Day Euphoria at Paddington

Valentine’s Day Euphoria at Paddington

No, not the bear, you transport-reading fools. The  London train station of Paddington has witnessed another event to flutter the hearts of steel and choo-choo as a man once again surprises his wife with a busker. The individual was caught by his wife singing with the busker her favorite love song of all time and the event was a joyful one for all who attended.

Taking place last Friday, the event was a joint celebration of London lovers and for the train station itself, which recently completed a lengthy roof repair period as well as the inauguration of a brand new ticket office and the construction of an area space for retail outlets known as The Lawn. But all eyes (especially those of Paddington Bear, who was apparently growling hi-dee-doo-dah to commuters but was actually sneaking in the background bursting for a hot dog) were on Mister Adam Jenkins of Neath, who celebrated with his wife Kerri-Anne in style by singing to her with her favorite song with a previously ignored busker at the station.

The event was a genuinely surprising one for Kerri-Anne: indeed, her husband had proposed to her at the very same station before and the couple were treated to an overnight stay at the Hilton as well as a first-class journey courtesy of GWR.  All in all, it is clear that they were the stars of the event which was also presided over by the Network Rail and Heathrow Express services. Mister Adam Jenkins was indeed delighted to once again be celebrating at Paddington Station with his proud as punch wife and it is clear that the love-stricken occasion could have tamed the grizzly bear in all of us that Paddington still is. And thankfully a zoo keeper was on site just to make that things did not get out of hand. And for all your lonely hearts out there that circulate around Paddington Station, Paddington bear will come again.
