Palletline Golf Day Goes With A Swing

Palletline’s annual golf day has raised £1520 for the Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance (NCCA).

Seventy two players teed off in glorious sunshine on Thursday 5th September at Puckrup Hall in Tewkesbury and fought a tough team competition, which was eventually awarded to Immediate Transportation with an impressive 100 points for the day. The individual prize went to Ben Handley from Alan R Jones, who also managed to win the ‘Beat the Pro’ competition against club pro, Ady Wheatcroft.

With a BMW 1 Series M Sport up for grabs for a hole in one, concentration at the tee was at a peak, with David Mearns from Potter Group almost taking home a drive of a different kind with a tee shot that landed two inches from the pin.

Followed by a three course meal and an awards ceremony in the impressive ballroom at Puckrup Hall, the event was a resounding success, said Kevin Buchanan, managing director of Palletline:

“It’s always great to spend time with our members and customers on a social level, and even better when we can add in a little healthy competition and use the opportunity to raise money for a fantastic cause. We’d like to thank our sponsors and attendees and hope they enjoyed the day as much as we did.”
