Palletline Announces Fundraising Plans For NCCA UK

Palletline has partnered with the Neuroblastoma Childrens Cancer Alliance (NCCA UK).

Neuroblastoma is an aggressive childhood cancer. The NCCA UK funds research, supports parents and assists with access to treatment.

Kevin Buchanan, Managing Director for Palletline, said: “We’re proud to partner with the NCCA UK. We are very much looking forward to working together, raising awareness and reinforcing the excellent work being done to support children with neuroblastoma. We see working with NCCA as an important extension of our drive to create sustainable communities.”

Bettina Bugay-Balwah, CEO for the NCCA UK said: “The NCCA UK is extremely grateful for Palletline’s support. Together we plan to raise funds for and raise awareness of this dreadful childhood cancer. They will make a real difference for our parents and children and hopefully set an example for others! “

So far Palletline has raised more than £2,000 for NCCA UK during its 2013 Corporate Golf Day held in September. The palletised distribution specialist has agreed a calendar of events to raise more funds and promote NCCA UK. The network will be drawing on the support of its 75+ members, who comprise some of the UK’s leading hauliers.

Maria Holmes-Keeling, Marketing Manager for Palletline, said:

“In December we will be supporting the NCCA’s initiative ‘Cycling Santas’ where two cyclists will be swapping reindeer for bikes for an 800 mile journey in eight days and delivering presents to children with neuroblastoma.  December is also Childhood Cancer Awareness month. After Christmas we’ll be helping to ‘Bake a Difference’ – a chance for the next Mary Berry or Paul Hollywood to sell their creations to hungry charity supporters. “

Maria added: “In May we’ve planned something completely different – an exhilarating money raising experience on the world’s longest zip line. To support this worthy charity and sponsor the Palletline team please email [email protected].”
