Vacu-Lug will be speaking to the guests at The Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show) about the economic, environmental, and legal benefits of their tyre management service. Those responsible for fleet safety, compliance, and efficiency will have the opportunity to see a demonstration on how selecting Vacu-Lug as their tyre management provider will significantly assist them in ensuring tyre targets are met and risks are eradicated.
The team will also be showcasing at their stand in Hall 4 their mobile app, VMS Mobile, released on the market at the end of 2017. It is the first of its kind in the logistics industry and it provides customers with remote access to their vehicle data. According to Vacu-Lug it is an “essential tool for vehicle monitoring and compliance control” that summarises individual vehicle information and stores it online in VMS Online.
Vacu-Lug hasn’t forgotten the importance of sustainability either and a selection of retread tyres will also be on show, including products from the Logistik range, which have been specifically built using production techniques and technologies used in aircraft and high-performance tyres to give operators the lowest costs per kilometre, whilst also increasing fuel efficiency.
Additionally, the company has also developed a tool for their customers, which allows them to calculate how much carbon they have saved since choosing Vacu-Lug’s retread tyres. The customers will then be able to produce and print their own carbon report at the click of a button.
Another demonstration, in partnership with the environmental friend Murfitts Industries that recycles all of Vacu-Lug’s waste tyres, will allow visitors to see what happens to waste tyres at the end of their lives.
The Vacu-Lug stand, which is at number 4G110, can be found in Hall 4 at The Commercial Vehicle Show 2018, which will take place between the 24th and the 26th of April at Birmingham’s NEC.
