TyreSafe encourages businesses to book Thursday, the 12th of July off as it is the confirmed date for its annual Tyre Safety Month Briefing and TyreSafe Awards 2018. Both events will take place at the Belfry Hotel & Resort in Wishaw, West Midlands.

The Briefing will welcome guest speakers and will provide activities affecting tyre safety. As a bonus, all attendees will be the first to see the materials and resources available to support October’s annual Tyre Safety Month.

The spaces are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis, although all road safety stakeholders are invited to join. The attendance is free of charge and the Briefing will start at 2PM followed by a networking lunch. Those who attend the Briefing are also welcomed to join The TyreSafe Awards ceremony that will take place later in the same evening.

For those eager to reserve a place, they can book it online at https://www.tyresafe.org/other-information/tyresafe-industry-briefing-2018/ or email theteam@tyresafe.org

The Chairman of TyreSafe, Stuart Jackson, said: “The Tyre Safety Month Briefing is a highly-respected conference on the road safety and tyre industry calendar, attracting an ever more diverse audience. With insightful and informative presentations from TyreSafe and guest speakers, the Briefing is a unique and valuable event. With numbers of attendees rising every year, those wishing to come are encouraged to make their reservations early.”

TyreSafe is a charity in the UK dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of correct tyre maintenance and the dangers of faulty and illegal tyres. It was awarded in 2009 the Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in recognition of its achievements in delivering its message about the dangers associated with driving on defective and worn tyres.

More information on tyre safety can be found on tyresafe.org and a full programme details and guest speakers will be announced this year.
