During the last day of the CV Show, TruTac, the compliance and tachograph software experts, hosted an Earned Recognition ‘drop-in’ session on their stand, following the official Show launch by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency). It featured full drill-down and intuitive graphical data, which customers can use free-of-charge to benchmark their own performance against Earned Recognition key performance indicators.

Roger Dent, Earned Recognition Product Specialist from DVSA was busy answering operators’ questions at the drop-in session and was highly impressed by the amount of interest and uptake: “I am pleased with the take up of Earned Recognition and proud with the way industry leaders are welcoming the standard. Earned Recognition has proved to me, both as an individual and an industry professional that UK operators are as passionate about road safety as the DVSA.”

The first PSV operators to join the pilot were Lucketts Travel and they were thanked by the DVSA at the launch for it. Lucketts are proud users of TruTac’s software and use the system to monitor and report all relevant data for E.R. as well as complete compliance control.

“We had a superb response from a number of customers who are already participating in the scheme” said Jemma James, TruTac Commercial Director, “and many others who simply wished to find out how to benchmark themselves against the E.R. standards.”

Also featured on the TruTac stand were a number of new software developments aimed at improving compliance and fleet control for operators in the HGV and PCV sectors, including TruLinks, Driver calendar import, Divisions and GDPR.
“The show was a great success for us and it was a pleasure to provide so many friends, old and new, with important information regarding Earned Recognition, while unveiling new compliance control solutions from TruTac,” concluded Jemma James.
