Showing their on-going commitment to the waste and recycling sectors and after many successful events over the past few years, Toyota Material Handling UK will be showcasing its range of quality forklifts and warehouse trucks at RWM, 15th – 17th September 2015 at NEC Birmingham, stand V80-W81.

The trucks on show at the NEC Birmingham have been chosen for their suitability to work in the waste and recycling sector, and include: the Toyota Tonero engine-powered forklift truck fitted with a waste recycling clamp, the unique Toyota half refurbished forklift, showing before and after the preparation process and the electric Toyota Traigo counterbalance forklift truck, which offers high performance levels in both indoor and outdoor operations.

The Tonero forklift has been developed to address key industry concerns of safety and durability.  Featuring Toyota’s unique System of Active Stability (SAS), the Tonero helps operators to manoeuvre the truck confidently and safely. The chassis of the truck is designed in rugged steel for maximum durability, combined with enclosed connectors to resist water and dust, allowing the Tonero to operate in tough environments.

Tony Wallis, Commercial Director at Toyota Material Handling UK, comments: “The recycling and waste industry is an important sector for Toyota, and RWM provides the ideal platform to demonstrate our comprehensive range of products and supporting business solutions. Visitors to our stand will be able to see our ongoing commitment to deliver a diverse range of products and services designed to meet the specific demands of the waste and recycling industry.”

Wallis also comments: “In addition, Toyota prides itself on the quality, durability and reliability of our products as well as our commitment to the environment either through developing new technologies or our dedication to high finish levels on our used trucks.”
