Leading end-to-end logistics services provider Torque, which has sites in Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield employing over 700 people, has taken steps to further establish itself as a truly innovative company by partnering with new brand Yawn.

After being approached by Yawn ahead of the brands’ launch, Torque said a firm yes to working with them to set up the logistics side of the business and service its consumer and wholesale clients. Torque provides a full suite of services to include: Freight; e- fulfilment; customs support; quality checking; pick and pack; distribution and returns management.

In addition to these services, Torque has taken Yawn through the rigorous customs process for commercial invoicing, sourced packaging and labelling and provided advice to support the launch and ongoing operations.

Luxury Yawn pyjamas and accessories are true originals, with endearing details like contrast stitching, collar buttons and a range of warm-hearted print stories, hand-drawn by team Yawn in London, UK. To get their start up company off the ground, they needed a company who would be with them – every step of the way.

Explaining the partnership, Alice Whiteley, managing director, Yawn, said: “Our strategy at Yawn has always been to work with the best and building a brand is all about teamwork.  Working with Torque exemplifies this. They offer many of the logistics skills we need under one roof, are reliable and great to work with.  We can talk with confidence to our key customers knowing that we can provide a fantastic service to them as we grow. The future looks bright!”

Stewart Firth, head of operations, Torque, said: “Yawn is fantastic brand and we can see a lot of potential in their product and future success. We are delighted to be partnering with them and will look forward to the future growth they are set to achieve”.
