Seafast Logistics, part of the UK-based Seafast Group, celebrated the presentation of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, with a reception for  customers and staff at Kesgrave Hall in Suffolk, on Monday 29 June 2015.

The Queen’s Awards scheme is regarded as the most prestigious business awards in the country and recognises UK businesses leading the way in international trade. 2015 marks its 50th anniversary and the award was presented to Seafast’s Chief Executive, David Halliday, by her Majesty the Queen’s County representative for Suffolk, Lord-Lieutenant, Lady Euston.

David Halliday commented. “This is a tremendous achievement for [Seafast Logistics] and we are honoured to be recognised as a company of the highest calibre of British business. We have a reputation as one of the most creative and imaginative logistics companies in the UK and together with our strong customer focus and worldwide network we continue to (help our customers) compete successfully in the global marketplace.

We have won awards in the past, but this one is by far the most important and special to us. It recognises the talent and dedication of all our staff in what we do, and it will be an accolade that we will proudly promote in the future.”
