Krone is once again an official sponsor of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC) and is also participating as an exhibitor at the Truck Grand Prix. With 115,000 visitors, the Truck Grand Prix is a major event of the ADAC Mittelrhein e.V., uniting motorists, long-distance drivers, truck fans and country fans from the logistics sector.

Krone will be exhibiting its Profi Liner Ultra, as well as offering fan merchandise for drivers and motor sport fans in a swap body converted into a shop box. The practical travel trolley by Krone is particularly popular with long-distance drivers.

“We are delighted to be back partnering the FIA European Truck Racing Championship once again in 2018. Truck Racing is more than just driving around in circles. It takes determination to be on top. It is about speed and mastering techniques and tactics. At Krone we never slow down when it comes to best performance in transport logistics,” said Ingo Lübs, Krone Commercial Vehicle Group’s Head of Marketing.

Moreover, the expert audience can take advantage of the cooperation between Krone and the Czech game producer SCS Software to simulate a drive with the Euro Truck Simulator on various tractor units and semitrailers from Krone.

The Krone Group is among the market leaders in commercial transport manufacturing with its Commercial Vehicles division producing flatbed and semi-trailers, container chassis, swap systems, trailers and motor vehicle superstructures as well as CEP vehicles for parcel services.

Krone offers a comprehensive service that includes telematics, spare parts, maintenance contracts, pan-European service partners and financing solutions. Furthermore, trailers and general transport equipment can be rented through Krone Fleet and used vehicles are available via Krone Used.

The annual turnover of the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group (Fahrzeugwerk Krone and subsidiaries) is 1.3 billion euros. Krone manufactured around 52,000 vehicle units (around 41,000 semi-trailers plus almost 11,000 interchangeable systems) in the past fiscal year.
