Kinetic, the driver recruitment and training specialist, has invested into a new advert, which is an eye-catching reflective livery, offering powerful promotion during both day and night. Designed and fitted by vehicle graphic experts RGVA, the wrap was created with the help of an innovative reflective vinyl from 3M, a first timer on this scale in the UK.

“As soon as RGVA showed us the material and explained that the entire trailer could be made reflective, we were sold. The trailer provides us with the perfect canvas which we’ve really exploited. It looks great by day, but at night it really makes a statement,” explained David B’bade, Head of Operations at Kinetic.

The new advert is billboard-sized and due to its mobility it can be spotted in service stations, truck stops, and customer depots 24/7, attracting attention from all the right people. “It’s already become a genuine talking point and the response has been phenomenal,” said David.

The first time the 3M 780mC-10R reflective vinyl was introduced to the UK market was in 2017. It is specifically engineered so that it maintains its reflective qualities across a broader range of viewing angles when compared to the standard materials. It has previously been applied to car, tractor, and van units, but RGVA argues that Kinetic took it to the next level.
The team at RGVA worked hard to create a concept that exploits the reflective potential of the new 3M material, while using the space in an efficient and effective way, so that the company’s message is clear during the day and during the night.

“The RGVA team really understood what we wanted and knew exactly how to maximise the power of the reflective technology. We couldn’t be happier with the results and we’ll definitely be replicating this on more trailers in the future,” concluded David.
