Kerry Logistics Network Limited has been working to improve their services and business network by adopting the Belt and Road scheme. The logistics company is working to  adopt this initiative by entering into a joint partnership with Globalink Logistics DWC LLC. Globalink is a freight forwarding group that has their headquarters in Dubai and operated in a variety of different locations throughout The Commonwealth of Independant States.

The partnership that has been created between Kerry Logistics and Globalink will lead to an increase of opportunities for Kerry Logistics. The partnership with Globalink will help the logistics network extend their coverage to Central Asia and the Commonwealth of Independant States. This new ground to cover as a part of the collaboration could lead to a great deal of expansion for the company.

The partnership that has been formed in order to adopt the Belt and Road initiative will allow Kerry Logistics to add nine countries to their worldwide network including Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Georgia to name a few. This new joint venture is the start of an exciting time for Kerry Logistics and it is thought that the Belt and Road initiative will help the logistics services continue with their development plans in order to make the most of the wealth of opportunities available. The Logistics company plan on carrying on their overland transport operations while starting to improve their project logistics knowledge within the international market in order to make the most of business opportunities.

This new partnership and adoption of the Belt and Road scheme has followed after the recent launch of Kerry Logistics rail freight project that carried out logistical services between China and Europe. The Logistics network is thought to be the first to complete a westbound charter in this location which runs from Yiwu and Eastern China to Madrid. This pioneering freight service took place in August of last year.
