K & H Haulage, the Bakewell based transport company, has announced its preference for Loadmac and chose to purchase two truck mounted forklifts. One of them will be replacing a rival brand as part of an ongoing fleet replenishment, while the other one is an addition that will meet growing customer demand.
“The Loadmac is an impressive machine, does everything we need it to do and at the right price too,” said Peter Lowery, Transport Director at K & H. The company currently has a fleet of 25 vehicles and five truck mounted forklifts. The ones purchased from Loadmac are the only machine sin its class to offer true one side off-load, which means that a superior reach can unload both sides of a trailer from just one side of the vehicle.

This asset has been one of the key factors that convinced transport companies to pick them. “The ease of operation and comfort levels definitely make them the preferred choice for our drivers too. We’ve also been very impressed with the attentiveness of our local dealer Plant Equipment and although we haven’t had any problems, I’m confident they would be there to swiftly resolve any issues if they occurred,” added Peter.

“Our team works tirelessly in Ross on Wye to manufacture an unrivalled product, so it is always fantastic to hear the type of feedback we’ve received from K & H Haulage. We look forward to developing a long and successful working relationship with them,” commented Ian Chapman, Managing Director at Loadmac.

Loadmac is designed and manufactured end to end in their manufacturing facility in Ross-on-Wye, which makes it the only truck mounted forklift made in Britain. It also has a strong presence globally, in North America, Canada, Australia, and Europe, where products are shipped from the company’s manufacturing facility.
