OE supplier has developed a huge range of premium aftermarket braking products

“From January, every ECP branch will stock Brembo pads and discs with full vehicle parc coverage” – Martin Gray, Euro Car Parts CEO

Euro Car Parts, the UK’s No.1 distributor of car parts, has announced that, from 1 January 2016, it will stock a full range of premium brake pads and discs by the global leader in braking systems, Brembo.

Brembo supplies original equipment (OE) braking products to vehicle manufacturers (VMs) including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Alpina, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroën, Corvette, Dodge, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Jeep, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Pagani, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Subaru, Suzuki, Volkswagen and Volvo.

The multi-award-winning Italian company also boasts an illustrious history in motorsport, starting with Ferrari in 1975. It currently supplies every F1 team and has a million followers on Facebook.

From the environmental benefits of its water-based UV coating technology, to thoughtful decisions, like supplying discs complete with the wheel bearing and ABS rings on certain French rear brake applications, Brembo goes the extra mile to make braking jobs easier and more professional.

To keep repairers up-to-date with the latest technologies, it created the Brake System Academy. Open to all, not just Brembo customers, this free online training tool challenges technicians to take an online test to become a certified Brake System Expert.

Sebastiano Rio, director of Brembo’s Aftermarket Business Unit, said: “This exciting new relationship with Euro Car Parts represents a unique opportunity for Brembo to significantly expand its presence in the UK. We have developed a huge range of premium aftermarket brake pads and discs, as well as other products like brake fluid, all of which come from the same state-of-the-art production plants as our OE parts. Our product, support and brand, combined with Euro Car Parts’ dedication and unrivalled distribution infrastructure, will raise the bar for quality in the UK braking aftermarket.”

Martin Gray, CEO of Euro Car Parts, said: “The Brembo brand is recognised worldwide for its quality and technical innovation. From a Euro Car Parts perspective, we don’t need to tell garages about Brembo, everybody knows Brembo. What we need to do is get the message out that, from January, every ECP branch will stock Brembo pads and discs with full vehicle parc coverage. We strongly believe there is a growing demand for premium quality in the UK aftermarket and we’re planning some exciting promotions to demonstrate that it is cost-effective to fit Brembo for a significant percentage of applications.”
