Don’t Disappoint Consumers This Christmas: Final Collection Dates
With Christmas looming, it’s time for logistics companies to think about last delivery days. This year, the final FedEx collection date before Christmas will be 23rd December meaning the final delivery date will be 24th December.
However, to ensure recipients are definitely around to receive them, FedEx recommends sending any parcels as early as possible to avoid disappointment come Christmas Day.
FedEx Advises:
While the last collecting day is 23 December, FedEx would advise customers to consider the availability of their recipient before Christmas and whether they will actually be available to receive their package on Christmas Eve. Many of our customers are telling us that they will close for the festive season as of Friday 20. We also expect that many people will have last minute shopping to complete on Tuesday 24, collecting ingredients for their Christmas dinner and may not be at home to receive deliveries!
