CitySprint Comment On Additional London Vehicle Levy
Patrick Gallagher, CEO, CitySprint comments on London Vehicle Levy:
“We wholeheartedly support the move to reduce air pollution in London. However, unless there is a signifiant improvement in the availability of affordable, lower emission vehicles and charging accessibility, businesses in London will suffer unfairly in six years’ time. Our couriers, for example, are self-employed and already pay the congestion charge. They will be unable to affordably make the changes demanded by this blanket levy and they, along with all businesses in the capital, will be negatively impacted and, ultimately, forced to pass these costs on to customers.”
