BT Opens New Parcelforce Worldwide Processing Centre In Chorley

– Gary Parker BT’s Contract Director has helped officially open the new Parcelforce Worldwide processing centre in Chorley

– The new centre is part of a UK-wide expansion programme by Parcelforce Worldwide, Royal Mail Group’s express parcels business, which has already created 120 new jobs in Chorley

– BT uses Parcelforce Worldwide to deliver to its customers across the UK

– It joined other customers of Royal Mail Group’s express parcels business to unveil the new parcel processing centre

– Around 120 people are employed at the centre which has the capability to handle up to 120,000 parcels a day. The purpose-built parcels processing centre is in addition to Parcelforce Worldwide’s existing national and international hubs in Coventry.

– Parcelforce Worldwide has also expanded or improved 12 depots in the past year. In total, it has 54 depots across the UK.

The new centre is part of a UK-wide expansion programme by Parcelforce Worldwide, Royal Mail Group’s express parcels business, which has already created 120 new jobs in Chorley.
