Asset Alliance Group has managed to secure a £4 million contract with UK bathroom and kitchen specialists PJH. The Group will provide them with 63 new Euro 6 trucks, as part of a major investment to modernise the business. PJH plans to update all of its operation aspects, including its fleet, offices, warehousing, and driver PDA solutions.

The vehicles range from artics to light commercial, 34 of which will be based at PJH’s distribution centre in Cannock, Staffordshire, while the remaining 29 will operate from its warehouse in Walkden, Manchester.

“We were bowled over by the quality of service and expertise among the staff at Asset Alliance. They were very supportive throughout the process and are extremely flexible when it comes to sourcing vehicles, contracts and service agents,” said PJH’s Head of Operations at Cannock, John Nobrega. “They’re also competitively priced, support growth, have a fantastic reputation in the industry and as an added bonus, are located close to our Cannock site. I’m delighted we’ve enlisted Asset Alliance to reinvigorate our fleet and help us improve and develop our offer,” he added.

The new Euro 6 vehicles will be replacing PJH’s existing fleet, which is approximately six years old. They will be reducing fuel consumption, management time, and fleet downtime for the company. Additionally, the trucks have in-cab technology and will be carrying heavier and larger capacity loads, helping the business achieve its objective of providing faster deliveries.

“We’re thrilled to have secured this contract with PJH and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the team, supporting them around the clock to ensure they achieve their ambitious goals,” commented Dave Potter, Commercial Development Director at Asset Alliance.

PJH is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of bathrooms, kitchens, and appliances, distributing its range across the country via a number of channels to reach its customers. The channels include multiple retailers, merchants, developers, local independents, and national and regional housebuilders.
