Pentalver Announces New DP World London Gateway Container Depot
Pentalver is pleased to announce the opening of its new container depot at the DP World London Gateway.
Empty storage, dry repair and reefer services will be provided at the new facility. These important landside services will be up and running within a few days, to coincide with the arrival of the latest shipping services to call at London Gateway.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to offer these services at DP World London Gateway” said Chris Lawrenson, Managing Director of Pentalver. “This is an example of Pentalver understanding and investing in our customer requirements, and ensuring the services are available when required in the right location. Pentalver is very happy to develop a long-term relationship at the new London Gateway terminal, which will undoubtedly become one of the largest ports operating in the UK.”
Landside infrastructure is a vital part of the port operation for shipping lines and having the knowledge, sustainability, experience and expertise of Pentalver within the terminal area strengthens the value proposition of the London Gateway terminal.
Peter Ward, Commercial Director of DP World London Gateway, said: “We are very pleased to see Pentalver here. These services are a critical piece of a world-class port like London Gateway and Pentalver are a world-class organisation, so it makes clear sense for them to be here. We know they will be up and running in the coming days, which is excellent news. We will now be working with the team at Pentalver to deliver growth for their business over the coming months and years.”
The new facility at DP World London Gateway further strengthens Pentalver’s portfolio of ‘off dock’ facilities, and complements its services at the UK ports of Felixstowe, Southampton and Tilbury; as well as its inland depot at Cannock, near Birmingham.
