Davies Turner Expanding North America Freight Offering

Davies Turner has been expanding their North American Freight services with the addition of a new oceanfreight which will be in operation between the UK and the USA. The company has also announced that they have appointed a new partner in Canada in order to further strengthen their transatlantic freight and logistics offerings.


Davies Turner is well known for being the leading independent freight forwarding company in the UK. The new fast oceanfreight service will operate from the UK direct into the port of Charleston in the USA. This new service has been made possible with the support of one of their partners based in the USA. EMO Trans Charleston has been working with David Turner in order to establish this new Southern Express Service.


The new operation, set up to expand and support their services will set sail every Tuesday from Southampton and will spend nine days in transit before docking in Charleston. The new transport line has allowed Davies Turner make deliveries to Southern USA more quickly that transporting the goods through New York. The newest addition to DAVIES Turner’s services works alongside the company’s other oceanfreight services in operation between the UK and a number of other vital US markets. All of these services offered by the freight forwarding company operate with the support strong and well established regional partners.


In Canada, Davies Turner has also announced that they will be working alongside FCL Fisker Customs & Logistics, a company based in Ontario which will help Davies Turner to improve their freight services travelling between the UK and Canada. As part of this agreement, Davies Turner will deliver a weekly service over Toronto for both LCL and FCL shipments, once these shipments land, Fisker will be using their in-house customs brokerage and their extensive distribution network in order to be cleared and distributed.
