Dunsfold Aerodrome will also have a range of cars that can be taken for a test drive around the famous circuit. The Director of ISS, Gavin Thoday has said that they are excited to have secured such an iconic venue for the first Reaclear tour event, and there will be a number of refuse collection vehicles at the event for guests to try out the innovative new safety technology for themselves.

Reaclear has been created as a preventative device, with the aim to eliminate reversing accidents, a challenge for the waste and recycling sector. This system has been designed to function with the driver and a reversing assistant. The assistant has a hand-held device that has a two-way Push To Talk communications feature. When it is safe to manoeuvre, the assistant will push a transmit button and inform the driver that it is safe. If the vehicle is reversed without this signal, an alarm sounds in the cab alongside flashing lights and a message is sent to the transport office in order to determine if further action is required.
