BCA Video Appraisal Service Takes Guesswork Out Of Used Van Buying
Leading vehicle remarketing company, British Car Auctions (BCA), has launched an innovative service for anyone planning on buying a used van at a BCA auction.
The online BCA Video Appraisal service gives buyers a 360 degree view of both the exterior and interior of vans for sale, helping them to choose what van to buy before they go to the auction.
Buyers access the service via BCA’s online catalogues (bca.co.uk). There are also detailed still images of each vehicle, with the facility to zoom in for a closer view of the condition. The BCA Video Appraisal service gives van buyers all the information they need ahead of arriving at the auction, as well as saving them time on the day.
“For a small business or trader looking to buy a used LCV, this service offers a ‘virtual tour’ of the vans BCA are offering for sale. Buyers can take a close look at the condition and specification before the sale starts”, explained Duncan Ward, BCA’s Head of Commercial Vehicle sales.
“With the BCA Video Appraisal service, van buyers can check out potential vehicles and choose a van that really suits their needs. Combined with our BCA Assured mechanical report – carried out by an independent motoring organisation – it offers real peace of mind.”
Duncan Ward concluded “BCA has taken a well-proven concept from other sectors such as property and reinvented it as part of the vehicle cataloguing process. Technological innovation is helping our customers to choose the right vehicle for their business before they even arrive at the auction.”
The BCA Video Appraisals service has already received recognition for its innovative approach for van buyers, winning the 2014 What Van? Innovation Award. Information about the service can be found at BCA Video Appraisals
