AA DriveTech Scoops BusinessCar Award

AA DriveTech has been named the best risk management provider at a prestigious industry awards ceremony.

The award, announced at the BusinessCar Awards, was presented on Tuesday, January 28th.

Jim Kirkwood, AA DriveTech managing director, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have won this award which is voted for by the readers of BusinessCar magazine.

“We also thank our customers who have voted for us and shown that we can deliver products and services that help them to manage their fleet, reduce the risk to the drivers as well as minimise their fleet running costs.”

AA DriveTech provides a comprehensive risk management programme for car, van, bus, coach, truck and 4×4 off road drivers.

Our programmes not only help reduce the risk of death and injury while driving but can also reduce fuel consumption, damage costs, time off work, insurance premiums and the risk of being prosecuted under Corporate Manslaughter Legislation.

The AA also won the Vehicle Recovery and Accident Management award categories for the fifth successive year.

Roger Williams, director of AA Fleet Services, said: “One of the key factors in our success is our commitment to innovation. We always try to repair vehicles rather than simply recovering them, saving money for our customers. We achieve this through developing innovative repair solutions and working with customers to identify areas of improvement.

“This commitment is also evident in AA Accident Management with our market-leading IT platform, Invictus, now firmly embedded into the operation.”

The BusinessCar Awards, supported by fuel card giant Allstar, are selected by the readers of BusinessCar, both print and online, and decided for using a secure voting platform.
